lol - perhaps because today is a public holiday and most are not open for trading!

Cant wait to see the prices tomorrow morning though and see whether the margins are up or not ...

I'd say some contributing factors are:
    Increasing holding margins by ~30%.
Price close to all time high of ~50USD

Seeing that Gold did not participate it looks like blatant maniplulation.

ZeroHedge is fantastic for leads, however I stand by the fact that the comments section has been over-run by people just making noise, "me to", BTFD, Gold Bitchez etc.

I don't have any sources for decent financial discussions ATM I'm afraid.

Agreed! Personally, I am holding and not being scared off my this (IMHO) obvious manipulation. Time to head to trading bullion stores today!

I just got paid for my super. Was thinking about getting gold.

Now this pullback. Silver looks tempting.

Have you looked at the gold chart? It dropped heavily along with silver, if it was a silver manipulation then why dod gold and silver fall heavily at the same time?

Gold fell less than 1% - silver fell something in the order of 10%.

Gold fell like $4 and silver also fell like $4 (according to APMEX).

So...the % is obviously greater for silver.

    Seriously.

If you believe in the long term fundamentals of PM's (don't forget GOLD in the Silver mania) then just Dollar Cost Average!

My point exactly, I am surprised so many people don't ask this question. Nugget knows, how many bullion dealers will you be able to reach or how much available stock will there be.
