Thinking of using a gold coin as a pendant and was just wondering what everyone's thought are on what is the best looking gold coin?
I'm a huge Swan fan but probably wouldn't wear it.
The Redback Spider gold coin is a great looking coin but would be great to hear everyone's opinions and see pictures of what they think?
    Could even be a bar?
    Thanks

I'd use a huge clock like Flavor Flav, then you can always be telling da bitches what time it is.

The only coin for that purpose would be a sovereign imo.
That said, flaunting gold coins around town these days is probably just asking for trouble.

Reminds me of a dog tag. I can’t stand wearing anything, not even a watch. Had to wear watches before mobile phones.

I've been wearing an analog watch since I can remember, feel absolutely naked without one. My last watch lasted 17 years and 2 full services to keep it going before I had to replace it. On the second service, he told me to just replace it when it dies as it wasn't viable to repair anymore which I ended up doing a few years ago

You’re not a real stacker until you own at least one.

I want to be a real sucker badly !
I keep missing out on the deals, I'm considering visiting a coin dealer to maximise my suckerness.

Edit: Whoops ... I read sucker not stacker:D

How much does it cost for a christian burial? That's how much gold you should be wearing in case you get shipwrecked, drown at sea and get washed up on shore. Other than that I can't think of a good reason to wear gold.

I'm pretty sure the person that discovers your bloated corpse will not be using the gold that you're wearing to arrange a funeral for you :D

Gipsies and drifters often wear gold as a way of keeping their wealth close at hand, they can travel almost cashless, they'll trade or sell if required.

It can be a way to transfer wealth across borders without the need for declaration.

It can also be a last resort means of getting you out of trouble if your stuck for cash far from home for one reason or another.
Basically a store of wealth that you will almost completely forget about until you absolutely have no other choice.

Besides that it just looks good.

Best looking is tough, so many great coins out there. But one of my personal favourites is for sure the German East Africa 15 Rupien from 1916. Not a bullion coin, but beautiful and interesting history too.
