I'm not aware that "X" is used by communist. Looking at Google trends, the abbreviation X'mas is more commonly used in the commonwealth countries, most common in the UK and NZ, and almost never used in the US. Since the rest of the world learns American, I'm won't be surprised if X'mas isn't used in Europe.

I thought it was just an abbreviation for criss (crisscross).

Regardless, X-mas is an Anglo-saxon expression.

Not communists. But in the Eastern Bloc (including the former Soviet states), they did everything to call Christmas ANYTHING else and to reduce its importance.
In Romania, Santa Claus became "old man of the cold" or something similar.

X-mas sounds degrading or... an abbreviation (lazy American habit to write long names..., tike "c-mon" instead of "cinnamon").

Was checking the weather in various cities after seeing reports that there will be a colder weather in HK this weekend. I remembered that HK was quite warm in late December the last 4 or 5 years and doesn't drop below 10C? There's really a cold spell across China next couple of days. So it appears to be a cold winter. Then I checked Europe, the weather hardly even looks like winter. The US is also quite warm. Odd weather nowadays?

Maybe it will snow in HK next month?

Queuing up to take covid tests. Previous outbreak in BJ, they made everyone take the test. Now only selective, only 1.7 million ppl took the test. Shortage of test kits?

Even an 8 year old can tell you that the total population test strategy won't work. Firstly, a single test is not accurate. To be accurate, at least 3 negative tests over 7 days. Secondly, after a person has been tested, he can become infected the next day. Thirdly, CNY is coming, the people will be moving all over the place. If there’s an outbreak again, testing entire city is not enough.

How odd that all these (so far I've heard of 3-4 variations) mutated Corona viruses suddenly popped up?

Nigeria, UK, Norway... and now Canada. It's as if some Bill Gates guy "planted" them here and there. Just to see what would happen.

    Corona 2.0, Corona 2.1, Corona 2.2, Corona 2.3...

I just hope these are the final ones and we're not in the middle of a huge beta-test evaluation campaign.

The anti-Corona vaccines are nevertheless beta tests :D

It's best waiting at least a few months to see what happens to the millions who got it. How many "blue screens" and "full system resets" or even "blackouts" occur.

I always heard that the only thing viruses do is mutate or they try to constantly. It's their only mission in life.

I've heard it called a hyperevolutionary process or something, that within a generation or two can totally change from the original to ensure they survive.
There will likely be tens of thousands of strains from the original covid 19(84) but some will live on, some wont.

They can literally make up any invisible boogeyman story from here on out and no one would know any better.
You just have to trust that they are doing what's best for your safety.
The most important thing above all else now is safety.

These "new" viruses will be brought out strategically as needed. It's been an easy distraction this far and has worked well.
Most people never notice a correlation in timing with this stuff.

virus need more time to close all shops and bring bankruptcy to the operators
virus is used to perpetuate the fear into 2021
so from time to time, they re-emerge again just like being guided and released
in the middle of all these, UK is looking for volunteer for testing so they can pop up everywhere
China, South Korea, Japan, Singapore etc

Yet again, Doge slams 0.01 $. I wonder how high it will go. They say it's partly because of Elon Musks' Twitter tweet.

I'm not sure if Dogecoin is good for anything, as it seems like it's not really used for anything, it's merely a speculative "token".

    A fiat trinket.

Yet, it gained tremendous value. Amazing.
