12? This time it's different.... Probably is actually. Probably too many of the highest high profile fund managers talking about Bitcoin as part of hedging as the US dollar loses reserve status and world moves beyond having one dominant currency.
I wonder if it will test its recent low back in the 16k range. It will be interesting to see what happens and what it does if it drops again to that level. Will it blow through and keep going down or bounce off and up again? Its so new that it's a hard guess but it seemed to have some strength and support at this level.
Monero Soaring up 10% on the SCOTUS announcement today. Bit of an up trend with the rest of crypto currencies.
I'm not sure if Saylor is an idiot or genius. He's basically engineered a 2x leveraged ETF in record time and run rings around the regulators. I'm not actually convinced he's doing this all himself.
Looks like that day is today. Exactly 3 years from the previous peak. We may well be shooting straight to 22K today. Already at 21.2K so we might be looking at a big green candle or two now that the resistance has been taken out. It's not even a weekend
Nice to see it go straight through 20k. Alts are following this morning. It rose on the hint of the Fed Stimulus, And there wasn't any stimulus. As it is 3 years to the date of the ATH, it looks like good positive times for the next year if the trends set by the halving charts continue.
Something about Guggenheim fund selling gold and putting a 400K target on bitcoin. I haven't been paying attention. I've been around long enough to be desensitised to crypto price movements.
Bitcoin going crazy about to break $23k Key metrics 24 HOUR LOW $19,412.69 24 HOUR HIGH $22,981.35 NET CHANGE $3,424.38 24 HOUR OPEN $19,448.26
Over USD3k gain in a day Can anyone recall this type of increase in one day when reaching previous high
Thanks I found the article https://www.coindesk.com/guggenheim-cio-bitcoin Maybe the before the 2017 ATH, I remember getting on a flight 13.5k USD, when i woke up 12 hours late 15k USD. Thats only 11% gain not 19 % like today.
One Bitcoin Skeptic Speaks Out On "Persuading People To Buy Fresh Air In A Can" https://www.zerohedge.com/crypto/one-bitcoin-skeptic-speaks-out-persuading-people-buy-fresh-air-can
Whatever I read was on bloomberg. The general theme is companies/funds seeking investor/regulatory approval to buy up to $500m bitcoin. $500m seems the magic number probably set by microstrategy. It does actually make sense for companies with huge treasuries to have their CFO put some in crypto. I'm sure they'll be skeptical of new things until they die. There are so many far reaching innovations from double spend to digital contracts to zk proofs to micro lending that you need an extreme cognitive dissonance to miss this. My own company is getting deep into non fungibles for managing ownership and rent/royalties.
Merry Christmas everyone!!! Thought I'd pop in now that my cycle chart has played out EXACTLY as expected. New ATH for Bitcoin - watch for the alt's to now have an even stronger move. 2021 should also be an exciting time for crypto holders. Congrats to any new crypto millionaire's.
