    Smuggling methods thread?
What do you guys think about combicards in the bottom of a MacBook, under the battery?
Battery usually shows up dense anyway right? And MacBook is metal body.

    What are your thoughts?

Not gonna work mate... X-ray machines can vary the scanning mode by the operator, therefore, density will show up eventually... not worth the risk I'd reckon

Only bring PM’s into countries where there’s no/low import duties.

Absolutely no creativity from old mate and his shit gold. Make up some non stress / load bearing parts for a wheel chair from gold, paint it and wheel away. Who is going to kick a wheel chair bound person out of their chair to x-ray it??

A mouth full of gold teeth would carry a few ounces, same too a metal not solid walking stick, artificial limb or as noted above, some 24k jewelry.

Na, won't work. I had a 1/2 oz gold bar in my travel wallet with my other travel money and when my carry on went through the xray machine at Kuala Lumpur Airport it set the machine off. Was pulled aside and told to open my bag. This happened twice on the same day at the same airport. Plus these days don't think about putting it anywhere on your body with the new full body scanners, everything gets picked up, even small medical implants. I was right to go at that time as it was just a small amount and I had receipts but bigger quantities might get you into trouble.

Maybe stick to sovereigns mixed in with currency coins then. Looks almost impossible to shift over a couple $k in gold without hassle.

I normally get gold coins as they are also legal tender for certain country. Australian kangaroo gold coin 1oz is A$100 legal tender. People should respect another country's currency.

That's crazy. When I was in the Army I'd fly home on leave and bring explosives I kept from live fires and field training.
It was fun to show my buddies back home and blow some shit up.
I never felt like I was doing anything wrong haha. Good thing I didnt get caught!
