It depends on really what you want. Hypeware or practical hardware. I've been spending less per year on phones and gadgets over the last 20 years. My first smart phone a samsung didn't last more than 2 years but all the iphones I bought lasted an average of 5 years despite me dropping them an average of 2-3 times a week.

The advances in processor speed and memory has come to a stage whereby you can get hardware released 3-4 years ago and it still works better than your previous one.

^ better, faster , cheaper, bigger in storage, lighter skinny etc,
most of the time, each person would have 3-6 devices

Just practical up to date hardware. Small improvements cost more these days and mediums improvements cost a lot more. Back in the days massive improvements cost only a bit more.

Really? i would consider my old iPhone 6s unusable today. I guess if you only want to use it as an alarm clock then is fine. Also another reason general mainstream hardware is lasting long today is due to general software not pushing ahead as much anymore. Back in the old days i would get excited when new hardware and software was released, now i yawn.

I was using the 6s last year until the touch screen went crazy. It was usable as I just went for the battery swap. One thing is I don't use my phone for gaming or to watch video. It's really bad for the eyes and people are going blind soon. I don't allow my family to watch video on their phones either. Any screen that is less than 17 inches wide is bad for the eyes.

I agree looking at a small screen for long duration is very bad. Though i would say any screen less then 27" is unpleasant. :)

haha, it’s really a serious problem. My progressive should I made early this year is starting to fail. I’m actually thinking of changing into a iPad.

I don’t think there is research on what long term usage of smart phone can do to the eyes.

I’ve tried all that I could, using night mode, blue light filter for the glasses.

Is there a medical term for a phobia about a lack of research evidence? Surely there has to be. It’s the disease of the modern age. :D

we tried and tried but it was just too deadly and too fast
says epidemiologist from a University, he who is trying to figure out what the fast-moving epidemic has in store for humanity
this vastly complicates efforts to contain the spread
China is giving free vaccine to some African nations
Russia is not self sufficient yet in their vaccine
when we approached them both, we got nothing but turned away
you see we don't trust them so we only will accept it for free, and with liability attached in case of side effects
we need to pay the full price per dose you see, since we are the most advanced nation
what is the cost per dose? it is $60, but why are the charge $600 each dose here ???
sorry you have to ask Trump, Ivanka said she would take care of it
you mean they knew that the vaccine work?
    no
they mean the price that they agreed to bill to the state
now I understand, why they were deadly against us folks importing from Russia paying $66... they wanted $600 + VAT
look what people shared on Tik Tok, when they removed the label, there were Russian writing on the vial
    loves the normality

This tactic is very common over here. To push the blame for policy failures to the "people". For the case of America, the "people" are the white majority, they are to be blamed for the poverty of the blacks when it is actually the oligarchy that are the cause. But unlike Americans, we are able to see through such a trick so it never works.

5G is the new 3G. Ever tried surfing using 3G? It’s bloody slow. Of course 5G isn’t for surfing, otherwise 4G is good enough. Neither here nor there. That’s the problem. So 6G is going to be the real break through.
