    Thanks @Aurora et luna.

Strange with the useless two prefix zeros as the limited run is already set to 15'000. It's not like there's an abundance of space.
Also the new trimmed down texts (without 'The Perth Mint' and 'W.A') make it less original imo.

Link to serialized bullion blob http://www.perthmintbullion.com/Buy-Gold-Bars/1oz-Cast.aspx?productId=594

Anyone had a chance to compare the exact weight with a bog standard PM blob - just curious.

    And..................
One day they might put the words "gold" on their bars.

Seriously, I don't understand why The Perth Mint Doesn't have "gold" or "silver" on their cast bars.

At the moment they say 9999 Fine WA o_O

Ok, I know WA is a great place and lovely people but why not stamp GOLD instead of WA?

It's so you can tell the commissar at the border checkpoint that it's a .9999 fine brass souvenir from your great grandmother's collection

I like the idea. But I don't understand the 15k limited run? These don't have dates, so they are making 15k serialised 1oz bars and never going to make them again? Or will they change the stamp slightly and reset or continue the numbering down the track? Are they going to stop making the normal 1oz blobs?

I agree change needed for the next generation of blob - may I suggested dropping “fine” add Troy Gold but don’t mess with the “WA” it just to important to the brand.

    ^^Great idea @Stoic Phoenix, I'm in

Just look how many times Neil Vance mentions WA in this vid with Chards (one if not the largest bullion retailer in UK).
