Perth Mint left swan "round" - what are these?

    Just saw the photo but no other details available. Are these rounds e.g., from old kook sets, or what did I miss?

    Yep thanks, it's similar but not exactly the same :) I have one of those in the sales ad but I can't seem to find which set these exact medals/rounds(?) belong to.

    Not quite the centenary medallions either, but close. So maybe just another medal/medalet variant. (photo: beyond)

    Fine Silver pieces in case with cert.

    Possibly the fine silver medallion you get engraved at the exhibition, ie blank on the other side?

    The same design was used on one side of the 2oz high relief Australian Landmark medallion set ;)
    Theres a set on eBay atm but its at a crazy premium![​IMG]

    the little 1994 round was from a set of 3x medallions with the first designs of the koala, kook and kangaroo on the obverse[​IMG]

    When I worked for the Perth Mint in Sydney we had bags of those, ended up melting thousands.
