I'm with @dollars, buyers and sellers should never feel compelled to follow through on a transaction. That's why it's the free-market and that's why we have feedback. Now, who wants that's free crypto?

Well delivered @dollars but the point you make is unrelated to the OP, a buzz is a buzz and an unconditional commitment to trade an item as described both buyers and sellers accept this.
SS is not gumtree, Australia listed or ebay, it’s a forum for people who enjoy collecting.

The Seller makes the Offer by putting it into the marketplace to Sell.
That is the Invitation to Treat.
The buyer accepts the Offer with a "Buzz" which is literally accepting the Offer from the Seller.
    You then enter into contract.
Sure, you can pull out of a contract.
Same as if you were at an auction.

Difference being you would lose your deposit.

    Cheers Markco2

Just one other addition I forgot to mention.

When you "Buzz", you are literally accepting the offer.
In other words: Offer and Acceptance = Agreement

Thanks very much guys and gals for a very "robust" conversation about this topic.
When Kenny first started using Buzz as shorthand for "no ifs, no buts, I want your product as listed" there was no ambiquity about its meaning.
Buzzing became very popular on this forum because it's a very useful tool in times of extreme precious metals volatility when mere seconds separated the winners from the also-rans!
I think it's now clear to everyone after 7 pages of "discussion" what was the original connotation of this word and I hope everyone will go back to using it in its purest form.
As for any legal ramifications, as far as I am aware, no one here has ever taken or threaten legal action if the Buzzer didn't follow through; negative feedback and comments was the most extreme penalty!
    Cheers

IMHO, the volume and price of most trades on SS would not justify the cost of legal action for an unfulfilled sale.
Trust and reputation are key aspects of the operation of any market, and especially relevant to SS.

No agreed sale has gone unfulfilled by myself,I don't care about a good reputation with those that attack and bully, only sellers, anyone wanting to no what I,m like as a trusted buyer can ask for references, I have a few on this site.danman, for one,I have made several purchases from.novice, first transaction 4k plus, you know,to them that know,no explanation is needed, and to those that refuse to know,no explanation will suffice.
