Police brutality is a problem for sure, the way they are trained to approach things is extreme... to say the least. But more cops get shot by black people than black people get shot by cops. It's not a racist thing. it's a overly crazy police thing. they need to be all gun ho some times, but not always.
And yes, surely there would be some racist police, there would be racist librarians, do you condemn all librarians as racists?

If you have enough to leave some for people maybe leave a portion to your grand children or someone that they can't touch for 10 years or something.

I see the Catholic Church as having a systemic problem with paedophiles and not doing enough to prevent child abuse, and I see the police force having a systemic problem with racism and not doing enough to prevent racism. I don't think all priests are bad and I don't think all police are bad.

When a cop murders a black man by kneeling on his neck for several minutes my first instinct isn't to wonder what prior convictions the black man has, let alone offer that as some sort of justification? Point is I don't preach my vegan don't kill animals bullshit when talking about metal prices and would be nice to not read so much right wing propaganda (fine in their own titled thread where I can ignore it entirely).

I sold a portion yesterday to make a nice profit. In my humble experience, I think a pull back in at the corner.
By the way, my new book is coming soon :)

George didnt die because of the cop on his neck. George's heart stopped because he overdosed on drugs.
He was on like 5 or 6 different hard drugs when it happened and the drugs killed him.

The racism crap is all made up.

no its not you need to actually figure out what a financial crisis looks like -- this isnt it -- Retails sailes are still steaming ahead house prices have not collapsed most people still have a job and an income

this is not a financial crisis yet and yes a lot of it is due to the stimilus pumped into the market but your assuming that it will end they can keep kicking that can down the road for a very long time.

in a collapse situation where an alternative to money is needed and silver goes into mania phase, mass adoption of silver would be easier than of Bitcoin. you could even have a silver/gold backed crypto

it wouldnt happen gold + silver may be traded amongst people locally/ "black market" but big business woundlt opent accept it the alternative to the AUD if we had a hyperinflation scenario would be a reset to a new currency ( or abandon the AUD for the USD or something similar) not gold or silver as have happened many times the world over allready

yor also forgettig gold can be made to be forciably sold back to the government at a price they determine. That is allready law.

I'm extremely tempted to start selling.
I've earmarked some 1kg bars that will be the first to go.

I don't have any gold apart from jewellery, and that's bugger all.. and I lost my.silver in a boating accident playing pirates.. That was a lessons I didn't want to learn.
Yea, maybe not with big businesses, but smaller places for sure. I live in a country town.. lots of local business
If only I hadn't played pirates...

and as soon as its becomes a "black market" commodoty your starving and wanting a local baker to sell you a loaf of bread do you think you will be getting fair maret value for that 1 oz gold coin you have

If it was my bakery and I was taking the risk of taking your black market goods I would be making sure it was well worth my while to do so.

however we are not in a financial crisis nor are we anywhere near a collapse and avt 4 of the banking act has not been enacted --- yet ---like that and I dont think we will see it. But as I keep saying the gold and silver you own in a true SHTF scenario yuor gold and silver wont be as useful as you think

I think people will accepting more than you think, and silver isn't the only thing I stack.. also, I don't think it's going to go full collapse. but if I did, a lot of local shops would accept it.

    10 oz gold coins. lol
I don't know if you edited it to say 1 oz, I can only assume so. but still, no 1oz gold coins to be found gold may be returning to money, silver will be more important in technology, let alone technically that we don't even have yet.
