Managed to get my hands on some of these rounds for my friend but had to get a tube so selling the rest. Whether you like them or not they are here. Envela Corp are not a bullion maker but made these and sold them for charity to aid schools shut down by the pandemic in the USA. So it is for a good cause even though worldwide it's been very difficult times. I have placed them in capsules straight out of the tube, they are 39mm rounds but I only had 40mm caps so there's some play but still protected. I can see they are not immaculately struck coins like other mints may produce but still very nice. There seems to be some light 'dotting' or such on the left side of the virus but it appears on every round in the same places so I think the die wasn't perfect. Just trying to let you know to be best informed if that is something that will put you off. Inquire for pricing... Postage costs can be done as a registered letter (tracked SoD) to save a couple bucks at $6 for 1 or 2, otherwise $9 regular satchel, $12 express and add $3 for signature if required. Edit: Can do a regular tracked envelope (no signature) for $5, express tracked envelope $7. All rounds in envelopes are protected well with cardboard either side. Note there's more available than in the pics. Cheers, BM.
I really like that Envela minted these to use the net proceeds to help kids continue their education during the lockdowns. It symbolically represents the disruption caused by lockdowns and I'll be adding mine to the "Black Swan" collection.
Seems they have a sense of humour. They also make a murder hornets 1 oz round. I could only locate a seller on eBay selling them.
Yep, I believe they had a reasonable premium as issued. That 10oz was about US$225 when spot was around US$15/oz, then add shipping!!! (and possibly duty to Aus depending who stings you). They are a relatively low issue silver, Envela I think invested in approx 50-100,000oz to make this bullion series (not sure if that's all up or each design of coins/bars?) with all profits going to their charities, so any extra premium at the start was just more to a good cause. Still some for sale for anyone interested, will leave it here for a little while and if no-more interest I'll hide them away Also just found out I can do a tracked envelope for $5 (no signature)....
Last Bump for the Envela Covid rounds. Still a few left. Will put them away shortly and won't actively sell them but if you come across the post in the future feel free to ask. Cheers, BM.
