Hi just wanting some asvice if possible. I have a very very good quality 1875 young head, M mint mark full gold sov. Wondering what the value of it is? Its in incredibly great condition. Very fine example, never been cleaned, no scratches or dints of any kind. Thanks in advance. Meg

Looking very clean, but due for some nail-polish.

Edit: sorry, sleep deprivation makes me believe I'm funnier than I actually am...or
was that friend deprivation? Either way.

Hi Meg, one of the experts here will be more accurate than me, but your coin doesn't look so special as to attract a large premium, and that year and mint isn't so special as to warrant a high price.

    (Someone please contradict me!)

I think you'd sell it immediately at something under $700, but if you're selling it, an auction here will get a fair price at this stage.

I agree, I have some similar ones, I had offered $680 including post (with no reply yet) but an auction tells you market price.
