I made a new Band for my Swiss Army Victorinox as the original rubber one was so old it started to become a little brittle & showing signs of cracking.

No Mates it's micro paracord. Here's a comparison with the normal 550 paracord done in the same weave.

One of few that met expectations of design and build quality. I think it was $260 USD. Happy!

Been a while since i posted here, my Omega Flightmaster was completed and i started a new project watch that i have been wanting to get for over 15 yrs, bought from ebay in Australia, cant even believe i found one in oz to restore, a few before and after pics.
Parts were real hard to get hold of nearly Unobtanium and came at a premium but worth it for a rare timepiece, i managed to get all NOS parts which was a massive effort for those that know anything about this Breitling model. The original case back laser engraving was 99% invisible and worn so had the caseback polished, lol still looking for a NOS case back for this model

Thanks mate, the 812 spent over a year at Lewiswatch Co in Perth, i think i was really fortunate as NOS parts specifically the ones i was looking for seemed to pop up on the bay just at the right time, so hard to research though as there is simply no published information by Breitling, the info i needed eventually came from several different Breitling enthusiasts from all over the globe, anyway all done now and i can tick this one off my bucket list.

If my mining stocks go 'to da moon' I might just treat myself to an F.P.Journe. Even if it's just the 'cheap' Chronometre Bleu.
    One can dream!

Buying a 40/50/60's vintage watch looks like a great idea on paper..........until something goes wrong with it.

    You Omega is 1947-1950 :)

The band is not original, it would of had a leather band
