ABC currently has these coins available for $667.90 for a 1/4 ounce of gold (2020, 999.9 fine)

Seems like a ridiculously good price for a quarter ounce? Only available at pre-order right now but getting four of these bad boys is like $22 lower than buying a full ounce (Britannia)
Is that normal for these gold coins?

    Just curious.

Extremely good price. Can't buy at that price from UK or Europe - minimum 12.5% premium in UK on this coin atm.

Debating about grabbing a few more quarters, and maybe a 1/2 Oz

I always liked the design but they have always been too expensive over spot

I was contemplating the exact same thing haha. I just bought a couple of sovereigns though, so slightly low on funds. Definitely wouldn’t mind picking up a couple more 1/4!

Damn, well I went to pre-order a couple more after getting back from work and it seems like they are all sold out of the 1/2 and 1/4 ounces. Was hoping to pick up a few more :(. Gotta be quick these days haha

ABC have updated prices; Assume they took it down from sale Saturday night, and posted them back up this morning.

    1/2 oz Britannia - $1392.10
    1/4 oz Britannia - $721.60

Lucky those of us who bought got in at such a great price! :D. Kicking myself I didn't get more now haha

May have made the mistake of putting them up at their cost price ?

I am kicking myself i didnt get more, i figured it was the case of a price issue when they disappeared as the higher premium 1/10 and 1 Oz coins were still up

Collected mine yesterday in Perth and same story. I asked the guy behind the desk and he said that there was a pricing error. No surprises there.

I did some comparison. This 1/4 oz gold coin was cheaper than 1/4 oz cast gold. I am grateful to have bought some. and wouldn't mind to buy more.
