I’d like to share pictures of these Metal Arts Co Inc medallions

    Just like to share these rounds I picked up.

    The Freedom America medallion is from 1970 and celebrated Christian Gobrecht, chief engraver for the US Mint in 1840.
    Designed by Toivo Johnson, a New York coin dealer in the 1960’s.
    1 avoirdupois ounce. .999 silver.

    The other is from a set of 9 medallions minted for the Seattle World Fair in 1962.
    15,000 mintage, 30 gram 999 silver.

    Both were minted by the now defunct The Metal Arts Co Inc. Rochester NY.

    The Flying Eagle and the Sitting Liberty where Christian Gobrecht’s claim to fame.
    First minted in 1836 when Gobrecht was still an assistant engraver at the US Mint, the Gobrecht Silver Dollar.
