Cash Dep Branch FOREST HILL CHASE 999999 (persons name) rang commbank they said must be bsb or ac details entered incorrectly. commbank said when the person contacts them they can reverse it. checked convos no one by that name is in them. so if someone was expecting payment today from someone living in that area in VIC it could be them.

Cash dep can be harder for walk-in clients to reverse funds, even with receipt because banks (esp. CommBank).. it's like trying to get a drop of sweat from a rock!

Yes, well done Midastouchgold! your honesty is much admired and appreciated by all decent people,
and help to restore ones faith in humanity.

I had an experience a few months ago at Woolworths, which also restored my faith in humanity.
I had been at the service desk to pay my Woolworths credit card, which I use to pay for some my precious metal purchases via PayPal, as I receive
a gift card when I spend a certain amount.;)
Anyway, after making the payment, I accidently left my wallet on top of the service desk and walked away.
About 5 minutes later as I was walking through the shopping centre when I felt that something was not right,
felling my trouser pocket I realized that my wallet was not there.
I nearly crapped myself and rushed back to Woollies, where I was relieved to be told by the service girl that the customer after me
had handed the wallet to her for safekeeping.
I can't remember the exact amount of cash I had in my wallet but it was about $3 to $4 k as well as 4 credit card with $60k limit.
I just wish the lady who handed it in was still there so I could have thanked her.

This is one of the best things about this site. I once posted 2 parcels to the opposing addresses (seniors moment). They both were so kind as to post the parcels to each other and I place the postage costs into their accounts. Honesty, kindness and integrity are characteristics of most members of this site. "What a forum", to say the least.

Yeah same with ANZ its impossible to reverse transaction, even when you tell them it was a fraudulently transaction (so be careful when large amount or unknown recipient) . They for some reason want to know if you know that person personally O,o. Which tells me they don't ever reverse transaction when its account to account transaction and only that transferred person has to make a new transaction. I wonder why CC fraud and fraud in general is so common.
