    just letting you all know, it might be a good time to load up before prices on ebay are rejigged for "buy it now" items on feebay

    (assuming rise continues)

    reason being - most business holders ought to be off work today

    quite a few items lower than spot (pre-postage)

    In my opinion there is a risk in just comparing two figures and drawing a conclusion.

    Yes the nominal increase is massive as you state.

    But what should have been the real price of silver in 2009 and 2010? This is the essential question that must be asked before we can state with certainty that silver prices are out of control.

    If the market has been underestimated the real price of silver for a long time then comparisons to periods when the market underestimated the price will give a false conclusion.

    Just my opinion.

    Would not be surprised to see silver touch $50 USD before the night is out. (And the AUD hit 1.10)
