Hi. Just came across this ad on Facebook and it's looks off to me. What are your thoughts? https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/426268811400530/
The fact it’s being advertised for $2100, which is almost $600 UNDER spot price, should be enough of a red flag for you. I wouldn’t go near it.
Yea I won't be touching it. The price is what caught my eye but looking at the gaps around the bar and the kangaroo print on the back it's bleeding onto the edge made me question it's authenticity. Cheers
It's a fake. The roos on the back give it away with them overlapping into the edging. You can see it mainly on the bottom left
As stated 100% fake. Front emblem looks lower quality. You need to edit your folder permissions who is able to see these as we are unable to see the attached pics.
The supposed "fake" seems identical to me to those shown by reputable retailers, this one from APMEX:
PM Steven as he has XRF eyes to spot fakes! https://www.silverstackers.com/foru...rom-bullion-dealers.95718/page-4#post-1140198
I'd buy from APMEX any time of day.. They wouldn't be selling fake 1oz-es just to tarnish their reputable business.. They will refund or exchange should you have doubts in their products in a heart-beat!
