Wasn’t expecting such a quick rush to $22. US trading tonight will really rattle the cages. We could go to $15 AUD if it really gets up some pace. DJIA should drop by the maximum tonight and will close early. When was the last time that happened. Crazy times.

Hold on this is going to be one terrible night to remember. Speculating that someone pretty big needs cash now and is dumping big quantities of silver and some gold on the market.

Yep, there will be some seriously pent-up demand, for lots of things, when this is over ( hopefully ) . Picking the reentry point will be the trick.

It was even better buying for all of 5 minutes 9-10 hours ago. In the USA, there were ridiculously low options. I’m not sure there will be much left in the next leg down

If you are buying silver you are doing wealth generation incorrectly there are some shares that will potentially give you 2.5 - 3 X on your investment AND pay a dividend currently yu what may get 0.33 on your money from silver if your lucky and have to store it for years and not paying any dividents.

Jester you have a passion for shares which has proven successful if in the right shares at the right time. But if you are talking wealth generation then this is a bigger topic than just investing in growth and dividend stocks. Most entrepreneurs would say that you need a business to truly generate wealth. But nothing is a perfect method as the outcomes and individually defined.

As such someones approach is dependent on their objectives, personality and drive and also just what they like to invest their time and money in.

Do you have any ADR to recommend?

I’ve bought some silver just to join in the fun, DCA downward, failed to buy any platinum unfortunately, but I’ve to agree that stocks are now very appealing.

Silver and platinum had always been a fun buy for me, more of a hobby than investment. Gold for wealth preservation.

gold is typically wealth preservation and silver is not speculation.
But things change, for instance when the gold backed treasury note is introduced, (and it will be) a lot of wealth will be generated for those holding both gold and silver.

Any thoughts on Pan American silver? I just bought 260 PAAS. It's a reckless move, haven't got much time to research and there's almost not much info on the web.

The volatility of this stock is crazy, in just the last couple of days, it swings between $11 to $17+. Don't even know how to buy, maybe I'll just DCA.

Will be getting more gold or silver stocks as I do more research.

EDIT: Also added 450 AG. PAAS is crazy, I wanted to buy it earlier today, saw it was $11+. Then when I got back to my laptop, it was just over $13 when I placed my order. Now it’s $14.83!

    Perth Mint says:
    BULLION - LIMITED STOCK AVAILABLE

Due to overwhelming demand for our products during this time we are out of stock of many items and some will be subject to considerable delays before they become available again.

    Silver Bullion Coins:
We have very few products still available and will focus our efforts on manufacturing the 2020 Kangaroo 1oz Silver Bullion Coins
    • Gold Bullion Coins: We currently have 2020 Kangaroo 1oz and 1/10oz Gold Bullion Coins available and this will be our ongoing focus during this period.
    • Cast and Minted bars: Are currently out of stock and at this time we cannot take orders for any size while we work to satisfy the current backlog of orders.

Their priority is the Kangaroo? Why?
Isn't that a "meh" coin. Why not the universally popular Kook?

Because the Roo has unlimited mintage.
The Kook has only 500,000 mintage.
The "meh" coin as you call it :D is an ok bullion coin for stacking; it's 99.99 silver. Better than a bar, more spots than a bar but, beggers.......................
