It will own most currencies, to the detriment of every living human being.

I just hope Aud doesn't sink much more than 50 cent because we do import a lot of stuff. Depreciation is like taking a pay cut.

Back when AUD was 50c USD it was mainly things in USD that mattered. It was nothing like the 80s when there was no chance of buying a twinkie.

I see you are new to finance :) May I suggest the writings on John Maynard Keynes Esq. ;) He infact was one of the best share traders, using behavioural economics and game theory before these terms were invented.

Well, that was a fun week, wasn't it? Physical holders of Precious Metals got to see a rise & fall in the quantity of 'FIAT' they would get if they had to sell any for any reason. Personally, I don't have to go into their 'Paper Ponzi Game'.
At the end of the week, those of us who held onto our Physical still have the same weight, same purity, & can sleep soundly at night.
However, those who play in the 'Paper & Digital CASINOS' & sold some of their make-believe money will have lost some of it, or their share in a company. _JOHNLGALT.

Your lack of understanding of basic economics/trading is quite astonishing.
Those that sold Thurs could buy MORE weight today and sleep even more soundly you gibbering monkey.

Stick around & I'll see if I can help.
I'm only drinking anyway, so I'll see what I can do.
It should help other people on here to get an AVATAR as well.

Uploaded in this chart to show the steepness of this plunge.

Pretty crazy just to spike only to plunge back. Not sure what to make out of this?

Saw more youtubes. My conclusion is this maybe a sign for what is to come. Gold doesn't break like this. If people have to dump their hedges, might be something really serious happening behind the scene?

People panicking and running to cash. Selling everything including gold ETFs. Physical gold that was backing paper is sold too. Physical gold market is very thin and it's not an easy order to fill without major slippage ???

Yeah, nothing to do with the fundamentals of gold really. When they had to cover other investment positions that plummeted they were forced to offload their gold quickly at any price to drum up the cash, driving the price down. Not that it would have bothered them because they have made huge gains on gold recently.

Hasn’t really gone up that much if you want to get some. I noticed that the slam downs are usually on Fridays and at night.

Unless you’re hoping to buy at $1550 or lower.
