Second time this has happened to me in about a month period.
Go to buy post bags to send something and the local post office is out of post bags.
Apparently the poor buggers at the local post office have been waiting almost a week for the new bags from head office to arrive after they placed an order.
What a joke, These clowns in head office who run this mess they call Auspost should be given the boot for how poorly things are being run.

Can you order postage bags online or have to go in store?

You can order them online but then have to wait days for them to turn up.
I will be getting my missus to grab some from a post office around the corner from her work this arvo. This is the second time Ive had this happen.
I will just have to keep more on hand. I usually keep about ten but posted the last on Friday as I had a few orders, they didnt have any on Friday so I couldn't replenish my stock, I was told they would be here today, lol, the post office was not pleased at all. I felt sorry for them as they were copping abuse all day from every second customer.

the post offices stock comes in the mail too, if they cant post them out to them quick enough and supply the post office consistently, Not sure about my chances if i bought online.

the organization Of Australia post is the worst, why dont they actually hire a CEO who has been in the logistics industry, not some numb nut who sold herbal pills running the show
