Just like stamps, coins are very ho hum to the new generation. They need a new toy to get their attention. What we need is a company like Lego to introduce a new range of Limited Edition silver lego blocks. If you saw how quick the Millennium Falcon disappeared off the shelves you will understand how big a market Lego is. The Falcon was well north of a thousand bucks and you could not get one for love or money.

Ha ha that's already a thing. Backyard bullion has been making them for a while. Plus Tertris and puzzles and the like.

Yes, but it has to be an official production which is part of a kit.....something like an "Indiana Jones" or " Tomb Raider".....anything.....hell, I don't care if it's "Dora the Explorer".

yeah i agree with you. But at the same time, i am tired of everything being hyped up. New flavours of everything, new extra - hyper models of cars or shampoo. Silver can just be silver and sit in a safe as a saving mechanism. It seems a bit childish that it has to be gimmicky. Does anyone have any of those old shipwrecked bars?
