Quick poll: If we got a range of the new Silver Shield BU products in (not the proofs or special limited mintage coins), would you buy them? Comment with a yes or no. If you feel like it, also mention what price range over spot you'd be willing to pay. Thanks gang!
No for me personally. Only because I got lost on which ones were out, which ones were official, how many varieties there were etc. Got to the point that I couldn't keep track of which ones I had and which ones I needed and it started becoming a bit like work. The designs were really good though.
I love having variety but not for me for the same reasons as mentioned by members above But i might be persuaded if they are offered for spot
No for me. Your store is already very light on available items. I'd be carrying the basics like ABC bullion, PAMP etc before anything more exotic.
I was a fan of the first series, then there was the confusion.. I think I'm the only one, but I'd probably pick some up if the premium was around maple / roo level I'd be more keen on the designs that aren't just repeats of the early ones with a different back. I don't think I'd go full collector and try to get em all anymore. But I'd get a few for sure.
Hit the nail on the head. Just to add to that... 1/4oz gold coins, especially from Perth mint. Kangaroos or lunars. Royal mint licensing? Would be great to see you guys stocking Brittanias or Queens Beasts. Add the bulk discount rate to your site, instead of having to email or call for those rates. Would love to buy tubes of Maples, Kangaroos and ASE’s, and seeing those rates immediately would be great, since I don’t normally do my PM buying during business hours.
I'd definitely be more than interested in picking up ss from you guys. I think there is a great opportunity to stock them if they could be sold at a lower premium than ebay stores (which i'm sure you could). I have a few and paid between $40-$60 an oz. If they could be stocked at a lower premium I would definitely be interested - especially considering no other major bullion companies stock them in aus... It's a risk but it could be a great opportunity for you as a business and a good place for consistent buyers to pick up ss. Cheers Joe and the boys Also - I'd be happy to pay around the $40 mark for ss
never thought much of these coins, stupid premiums for what are just cheap looking kitschy coins. I just wish there were dealers who would focus on good priced low premium generic silver and offer good postage rates, instead of over priced premium stuff with crazy postage rates.
I'd much prefer if you could bring in Scottsdale Mint items like the 5oz & 10oz tombstone nuggets......
Not for me either, although i am surprised at how many people are not interested. The silver market has definitely changed significantly. These would have flown off the shelves a couple years ago.
Was a big fan of the Silver Bullet Silver Shield during 2012 and 2013. Things got confusing after that. So it's a 'maybe' for me. Good design, reasonable premium and I'd consider.
