Has anyone bought the 10 oz bull? How does it compare with the 10 oz unicorn and griffin? I’m not impressed with the 1 oz gold bull so haven’t pulled the buy trigger, and besides it’s silly to buy now when it was on sale for 10% less only 2 months ago. I don’t have the 2 oz silver but the 10oz can look different as compared to the 1 oz gold. Take the lion for example. The 1 oz gold lion is very pretty but the 10 oz lion only so so. The unicorn is the reverse. 10 oz silver unicorn is very pretty vs an average 1 oz gold unicorn.
The 10oz bull looks good in that size, in my opinion. Better than both the 1oz gold and 2oz silver. The size of the coin brings out more detail and with the bull it’s definitely needed. I have no regrets buying it at all.
Ordered the 10 oz bull during the dip last week. Crazy price, by far the most expensive I've paid from a dealer, but can't wait anymore!
30$/oz for minted coins, well over the top where regular coins are sold for less this does not fit into stacking, may be sample collections
I mostly stack bars to keep the cost as low as possible, however I don’t view semi numi coins such as the Queens Beasts and Kooks as part of my stack, per se. Its for my own personal collection, because I simply like them and want to be able to appreciate them. In terms of budgeting, I only buy the semi numi’s when I get a non-typical bonus amount of funds to spend, such as working overtime, work bonus or tax refund. So it doesn’t blow my stacking budget out
It depends on the spot price. The qb dragons and griffins I bought for like $235-$245 last year. Today, this price can't even get you a 10 oz bar. Not to mention, the griffins and dragons will fetch at least $300 now. Also, 10 oz silver were never that low premium to begin with. I've mentioned that rising silver price is no good for us that are still stacking.
I used to reference silver price back to the 100 oz silver bar, now I watch this one https://www.bullionstar.com/buy/product/silver-bar-bullionstar-heraeus-1000oz but nice size https://www.bullionmart.ca/product/100-oz-samp-silver-bar/
Here's my white lion. Was lucky to get an ok piece. Now it's night time over here, my phone camera sucks. I should take it under daylight. I think the Yale looks nicer. Maybe I should take out the Yale and compare them side by side?
Ever wondered what series will come next by Royal Mint after the QB's series is finished? I have a whole collection and a box to store, bought without a second thought but now worth twice as much especially the first ones. And beautiful design too... QB's going to be difficult to substitute!!!
Swan Bullion in Perth have the White Lion of Mortimer 2oz and Falcon of the Plantagenets 10oz for pre-order if anyone is interested with coins to be available at the end of the week/start of next week https://swanbullion.com.au/product/...ion-of-mortimer-2oz-9999-silver-bullion-coin/ https://swanbullion.com.au/product/...e-plantagenets-10oz-9999-silver-bullion-coin/
This looks better than the ones on YouTube. Photography or lighting effect? Makes me think of getting it. The gold falcon looks bad in my opinion, the worst of the lot.
It is the coin out of capsule. Most YouTube videos show that 10 oz very bad. I'm bad lighting and through the caosule. I try a little better. No Photoshop effects on this photo. About gold falcon. The one oz gold looks better than 2 oz silver. It doesn't make it the best looking design in the series anyway. Think gold just makes it more appealing And 10 oz makes falcon look like falcon and not like sparrow.
Have any fakes been seen in the wild? The ag bullion griffin and dragon are selling 2x to 4x over spot which is surely tempting fakes. I'm actually wondering if I'm better off not chasing and waiting for prices to come down.
will be likely similar to what happened with lunar series. They will release series 2 then 3 etc... And since its bullion collectors will lose interest after a while and chase the newer coins. the limited mintage will help somewhat to buffer the eventual price falls
