    I heard a myth about a train, which transported 1,600 tons and ran off the tracks, straight into Lake Baikal.
    Approximate worth: 80 billion USD.

    This reminds me of German gold hidden at the end of WW II.

    The Russian story somehow sounds more real. However, I can also imagine a scenario when gold was stolen and then the train was ran into the lake... just imagining how it could have happened.
