It will be interesting watching this one unfold. I would've thought the Zuk Burger could've backed the FB air coin with his loose change, but I suppose as always it's better using someone else's money. Libra might be a smoke screen. https://qz.com/1719731/zuckerberg-confirms-facebook-payment-tests-in-india-mexico-in-verge-leak/ https://www.firstpost.com/tech/news...disruptive-in-the-country-report-7412851.html
Apologies in advance, if you haven't worked out by now that I've got the maturity of a 16 year old then here it is... Interesting search results when I typed "libra" into the search bars and clicked on images. The search results are perfectly fitting on so many levels. Perhaps Facebook could use a shipping container load of these to soak up the mess.
with how facebook operates and they are very hard core about monopolizing everything, Im sort of glad these companies are pulling out of this, Last thing we need is facebook having so much power in the financial sector. Id say if these credit card companies signed up to facebook in this way it would likely be at their own demise in the long term and when Libra is big enough it would kill them off in a heart beat.
Facebook's definitely got way too big for its boots. I think it will die eventually, kids aren't interested in it, they seem to like Instachat and snapgram.
I believe you meant the USSA? The West had no emperors for centuries. Lenin would not condone feudalism.
Maybe the USSA, but I think the PRA is probably more apt. The Chinese are smarter than the Russians, they don’t tolerate openness. Liberalisation was the downfall of the Soviets.
I wouldnt say the chinese people are smart. They have been living in China for thousands of years and still dont have any rights. Not so smart after all I guess.
Libra would probably have been just fine if it didn't have Facebook's name attached to it. Facebook is politically toxic in the US on both sides of the aisle. The left think they enabled the right during 2016, and the right think they're politically biased against them.
Facebook is toxic in the US and Western Europe, but this isn't the case in Singapore and other Asian countries as well if I'm not mistaken. Libra will do well in Asian and African countries.
