I like this bullion coin for a couple reasons. It’s low mintage - VERY low for a billion coin. And it’s a series. And it’s not yet another animal from the Australian jungle or ocean or lake. Lol

I find it extremely hilarious that this guy Andrew Lee is critical of the limited Perth Mint Bullion coins - which in my estimation are very nice for a bullion coin - yet when you look at the turds he sponsors, he charges 15 x’s what these limited bullion coins fetch. And heaven forbid you call his $500.00 sponsored series turds (which they are)...he think you lost your mind...but I actually like the bullion coins better than his $500.00 turds. Much more room for upside (percentage basis).

You can buy it from APMEX (in the states). They are listing it as 'pre-sale' now but will be available soon.
If your order is <$1K AUD equivalent you can avoid the customs fee but you would want to spend near that amount to make it worthwhile as you will be paying a $60 to $90 'P&H' + 'Weight Surcharge'.
I like this coin too, V nice.

Yeah, I can’t believe these PF70’s were priced so cheap, when the ungraded individual pieces were going for 31.50. Must have been an oversight on the part of APMEX. Heck the grading fee is at least $20.00, with a special label...okay may 18.00 all in for grading...anyway, was a good opportunity to get some of the 70’s on the cheap. Lol.

    I just checked and the coins for $31.50 USD (31.50 x 1.49 = $46.94 AUD) for the BU's
Where did you see the PF70's ? Couldnt see any on APMEX.

The coin is really amazing. Didn't have an opportunity to edit a video on it but believe me it would be a smashing hit if we see a second strong coin in this series.

Yes! I agree Kutylin and Trinkets. This is one of favorite semi-numi coins in a long time...finally something other than a bird, kangaroo, koala, etc...and as Kutylin showed, the details are great - no it’s not ‘Poland Mint’ details, but then again we’re talking oranges and apples in those two cases. I too hope the 2nd one is nice. They’re on to something unique with this series...and they only minted 15k. I don’t think they thought it was going to be a success, so they minted a mere 15,000. Maybe they mint 25k for the 2nd one? I hope not, but it would make the 1st one even more unique!!

Agree with you, one of the best men in US
And I think that as Apmex and Perth Mint selling departments were defeated by marketing departments and didn't rise the mintage of Swans think the same should be with Black Flag series.

We talked about this before and it didn't take them long.

There's going to be a 5 oz version coming out with 500 mintage. It's listed on Apmex.

That's what I'm waiting to see. If it's reasonable, I'll pick one up.

I just have a bad feeling that they may saturate this series with too many variants (I can see them coming out with colorized and gilded versions to max out their profit).

The series started out well: low mintage, great design, reasonable price, and great possibilities for future designs. They just need to be careful with how greedy they get.
