What is that simply saying - A Half Truth Is A Full Lie This is what it really says - The Book of Matthew Chapter 19 verses 23,24 & 26. Then Jesus said to His disciples - assuredly,I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you,it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. But Jesus looked at them and said to them, with men this is impossible - But With God All Things Are Possible You have deliberately set out to deceive us with your half truth aligning yourself with the father of lies (John v 44) the devil getting the reward that you deserve
Please don't cherry pick the Bible and then complain when you are shown to be a delusional hypocrit .... for it may be God's will to show pompous arrogance is not a virtue ... Why did not Pell think of that one for his defence ...
The fact is you DON'T know what it really says unless you have the original texts and can read ancient languages which i seriously doubt ... even the international panel of experts selected to read the Dead Sea Scrolls are in disagreement but the ex Vatican translator has come forward and the "Bible" is fundamentally flawed ... here is a taste of what the "Bible" really says .... Biglino is italian and some of his lectures are translated ....
This rubbish sadly reminds me that "The Church" has let us down were this dribble can gain a foot hold But saying that it is comedy Gold seriously - - - - - The Book of John Chapter 14 verse 6 I am the way - the truth - and the life - no one comes to the Father - except through me
I used to think you were quoting Bible verse as a joke during the Folau issue but now i can see you are ignorant, unbalanced and lost .... why don't you read Ezekiel PROPERLY and get a grip on the real world around you ... your pompous and ignorant attitude gives Christianity a bad name ...
"get a grip on the real world" like you please To continue this would be unfair on you The End - The Book of Isaiah Chapter 9 verse 6 For unto us a child is born Unto us a Son is given And the government will be upon His shoulders And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor Mighty God Everlasting Father Prince of Peace
Clapton is not God ... Ablett is not God ... and from the above video the experts conclude the ancient account of a blood thirsty warlord and Governor of a local region in the middle east is not "God" either ... Yahweh / Yehova is not God ...
Very interesting thanks Systematic. Do you have any other links that might expound on the above? I've been following with interest some of Graham Hancock's work on ancient civilisations (9,000 BC and back) and the continuity of the "gods concept", being the carriers of the knowledge from prior ages. I think the mis-translation of a relatively new historical record (bible books) quite likely. p.s. especially considering how common misinterpretation is, mistakes in translation, deliberate and otherwise seem more than highly likely.
Mauro Biglino translator of ancient texts for the Vatican has done interviews and lectures on what he believes the records say. Many are in Italian but some have been translated into english. What he has to say is fascinating. I would also seek out John Allegro's opinion on the contents of the Dead Sea Scrolls. https://archive.org/details/MauroBiglinoTheBookThatWillForeverChangeOurIdeasAboutTheBible2013 Mauro's book https://archive.org/details/MauroBiglinoTheBookThatWillForeverChangeOurIdeasAboutTheBible2013
Great read thanks. P.S. I can recommend the above to anyone interested in the development of humankind and the history of the planet. Considering that the words of the bible are translated in their original meaning and context, I'd agree that we've been sold a pup in the Synod and James Bible versions. Through the book there are mentions of the Catholic Church facing up to some of the implications of the original reports (e.g extra-terrestrial, or advanced civilisation on earth). I'm interested in what SammySilver might have to say on this topic (considering your credentials!) Also, the mining of gold is an interesting concept and explains in part the almost mystical elevation that gold is held in every society. In bold and simple words one sounds like a bit of a nutjob describing these ancient potentials, but the evidence appears to be there. Thanks Systematic again for an eye opener!
