Great way to teach the locals about silver as currency! Theyll think theyve found themselves a bargain.

I just ordered pt bullion. Bought QB coins in Jan/Mar when spot was much lower. Should have bought more then but the sentiment was super negative for pt, much worst than ag. :)

Pt is very speculative so I'm prepared for a price drop, but I'll just average down if it happens.

As for whether it is a good investment or not depends on your investment timeframe, and whether you can average. If you can hold 10 years or more, pt will be a good investment. I mean it is no brainer, it could fall to $400 as Alor says (in my opinion more likely it will flat out at $600-700. Yields are already negative, if the price does fall that much, billionaires will buy kilo bars as door stoppers at home) but likewise it can rise to $3k if there is political issues in South Africa. I’ve not even touched on the demand from fuel cell.

up now are gold then silver
    pt and pd are lagging

very good reason for gold to be in demand, Central banks buyers
silver to follow if China is re-building the silver reserved for industries
palladium, Russia is very unlikely to supply, unless at very high prices
    platinum got excess supply

it would be a flash if Pd Pt & Au are trading at 1:1:1 $2,000 etc

if one buy Pt QB for fun there are 10 coins set, so long as you can plan with cash to average the bottom
as a whole diversify with Au Ag etc
situation will be calm and stack on

Wow, pt just made a breakout. Just one day late I would have to pay almost $50 more an oz. Let’s see how it goes from here.

Some dealers are prolly doing the same thing they did after the 2013 gold crash (remember?), when they sold PM's with "extra topping", a few fat slices of PREMIUM.

It's like when you order a hamburger and they give you extra slices of smelly onion, just because the meat god thinner. :D

I expect the same now as gold's price becomes a bit unpredictable. Watch: as it dips, the dealers will purposefully not dip their premiums!

I repeat again for you I did not say anything in my post re the USA returning to a GOLD STANDARD I simply posted 2 pics from another forum and made no comment at all. The Gold standard comment/statement was made by the picture poster , not me. I posted the 2 pics in relation to Silver not Gold.
From various info I have read in the past TRUMP does not want to return to a Gold standard.

    I've said it.
And I will say it again here.
Before Trump is finished in office, the USD will be backed by gold.

HR5404 to define the USD as a fixed weight in gold.

Mr Jester, have you ever taken a few hours to look at what Q is?
I'm gunna take a wild stab in the dark and say, no you haven't.
Those who refuse to look at the information make themselves look foolish when they insult people who have taken the time.
And going straight to ad hominem attacks pretty much means you have no real answer and lose the argument by default.

    Good question!
Q is less of a who, and more of a what.

But if you look at how Gen Flynn has been signing books... I'd say chances are he is one of the few that knows.
