1971d 90% silver

    I found a 1971d half dollar that I belive to be 90% silver. I took it to a local shop and they confirmed my belive. Has anyone seen on? It's being sent in to be authenticated. My guy says they is rare ones out there that are 40% silver but has never heard of a 90%. I

    I dont. I left the coin with the shop owner to send off. His machine said it was 90% silver
