If only I had started stacking two years ago. Not enough time to get deeply into it before this price jump.
Depends on where you see the market going: - AUD down + Metal up = back up the truck. - AUD up + Metal up = Not much risk - AUD down + Metal down = Not much risk - AUD up + Metal down = Probably not a good idea!
People have been saying that for a thousand years. Just start. Price has been going up for years and unless the world discovers some huge new supply of silver it will continue (in an up and down way) it’s upward journey. Just start. There are many tomorrow’s.
Thx SDJ, yeah Im in camp1 with everyone here, WTB @OE we have looked upwards to the stars for much longer https://www.nbcnews.com/mach/scienc...oid-could-spark-space-mining-boom-ncna1027971 Now that would be a find
Are we going to see the Gold / Silver Ratio lower significantly? Definitely too early to say, but lots of fun to watch Good luck fellow Stackers, wishing you all the best.
I increase my silver stack by 10% and gold stack by 30% only 2 weeks ago. Took some courage. Wanted to buy more but me wife is very unhappy with me spending on useless silver. I thought the prices then were high to begin with, especially gold.
It hasn't felt this exciting in silver for freakin' years. It was getting a lot tedious trying to convince myself that silver was biding its time for its next big move north.
I like positive thinking people having this courage to stack silver or gold. Tomorrow might be the day for reward.
Thing I like about gold and silver for long term investment (10+ years) is that they don’t go broke. CEO’s don’t go rouge. In fact they are just stable against the global backdrop. Sleep well at night.
Depends when you bought in. If you bought silver from late 2010 through to late 2014 (almost a 4 years window), you wouldn't be that happy. Almost as bad for AUD
It you bought Lehman bros in 2007 you would be even more unhappy. Of course PMs can and do go down (and up) but they are not out. SILVERDJ I do understand your point it although I did say 10+ years.
It's still cheep at $25 I'm still buying. I'm willing to bet that the last high will become the new norm, and the next high will be eye boggling.
Big money hasn’t moved into physical silver yet. So far just retail investors speculating slv and miners.
