Hi Andrewlee10, I used to travel to china every time due to my job. Yes problem, with buying panda in China is taking the risk of being faked. So I tried to buy in the most established stores only. In Guangzhou, there is a district or a street that selling silver and gold coins, i checked all the pandas i bought from them and they are ok. Most of the time i found stores for silver coins inside Tesco store. I also bought many decorative chinese mini coins and mini gold ingots from time to time 1-10 grams in pieces. They are amazing, the prices are standard and can ask for small discount. I always buy early morning during my short walk from my hotel and being the first customer for them.

Hello kind people at the panda forum. I am considering whether to send a couple of 2003 silver pandas for grading (NGC). As you can see, they are currently in OMP. In that regards, I have two questions: 1. One of them appears to have some toning. Is this something that can/will be removed by conservation? If not, I assume I should keep it as is. 2. The other coin looks flawless to my untrained eye. Is it generally seen as a profitable move (in regards to market value), to send them for grading? I don't collect silver pandas, but got them at a good price and looking to flip them... [imgz=http://forums.silverstackers.com/uploads/14219_img_1578.jpg][/imgz] I am sending a gold coin with some red spots as well, as I have come to understand this will easily be removed by conservation. Is this always the case, or more of a gamble? Feel free to enlighten me further if there is something (else) I am missing.
