There is nothing scientific in what I do. Every excess piece of paper goes into 'real money'. Paper & digits have no intrinsic value (very little). Simple logic.
It's funny how a few bucks under 1400 is considered falling prices now Haha. Perceptions change I guess.
I'm with ya on that johngalt. I save more than a couple thousand bucks and I get too nervous to hold the notes. I always end up caving in and buying metals and it calms my nerves.
Gold finished this week just above the 2k mark at $2000.50 I think the governments tax cuts has helped the AUD,but happy gold has held for two weeks above it's previous record of $1920.00 in 2011. With the AUD at $0.70 and Gold at $2000.00 it looks to me that Golds position is reinforced reminding us of it's worth as fiscal insurance . If you go back to early May when this rally began, the patterns have repeated almost identically but continue to make higher lows and higher highs, indicating that there is more room to the upside and the rally should continue. Gold has rallied 10% from the recent lows and has its sights set on our next target of $1,500. Although gold bulls would like nothing better than a straight up move, the recent action is more bullish and the longer it can remain in this pattern of consolidation, the greater likelihood for a continuation of this rally.
