WTS : Lunar Display Box : Holds Both Series 2 & 3 1oz Silver in the one box

    Hi All ,

    For sale is this stunning Display Box that hold both Perth Mint 1oz Silver Series 2 & 3 in the one box.

    The Series 2 coins sit in the base of the display box and the series 3 sit in the insert tray. Images attached.

    As series 3 is the same size as series 1 - you can also use this display box to hold the following combinations :

    Series 2 with Series 3 or
    Series 2 with Series 1

    This box is for the 1oz silver series and believe its the only one of its kind that gives you the option to hold two separate Perth Mint 1oz silver series in the same box.

    Please note : I only have limited supply of the insert trays, once there gone, I wont be getting any more in.

    Asking $55 with insert tray plus postage

    **each box weights 800 grams, so shipping will need to be calculated...but as an indicator only 10 boxes using the Australia Post Parcel Calculator would be around $30

    If you have already purchased the display box and wish to purchase the insert tray separately...Insert Trays cost $10 each plus shipping.

    buzz 1 box please. I'm assuming dimensionally it would fit in a prepaid 1Kg bag?

    Hi Bullion-Ron, unfortunately no...it does not fit in a 1kg satchel , once you put all the protective packaging around the box. it needs to be sent as a parcel. the last few single boxes that I have sent have cost $20 postage.....but have all arrived in perfect undamaged condition.
    To put them in a 1kg satchel without any protective packaging and the way Australia Post handle our items, I could pretty much guarantee that the box would arrived with some form of damage.

    Well worth the buzz Ron I recently recieved my order here across the ditch and they arrived in mint condition and the lunars look great in the case

    Only thing I can recommend @argento is to see if you could get little plaques engraved with the year and animal that could be hot glued underneath said coin.

    now THAT would be spiffy

    Got two of these display boxes recently and very happy with them! Well made and the coins fit perfectly. It's good to see a product like this available locally in OZ...

    oh for sure. I had to buy my case for the Queen's Beast series from europe. pricey, but well worth it. I'll see if I can uplaod some pics later on

    Ok...just a friendly bump. Have spoken with the Perth Mint and it would appear that Series 3, will be the same size as Series 2.
    Now I wouldn't be jumping the gun just yet until they actually get released next month or October.....but its promising at this stage that we may actually be able to use this same display box for Series 3......will keep you posted :)
