    That's nice.
I am particularly impartial about JP Morgan, and couldn't care less.

They are due to your wild imagination assuming some sinister force is specifically targeting you as a permabull and holder of metal. The term "smackdown" was invented so as to save-face of the permabull whenever price moves against their constant belief and public broadcasting of what they think ought to be true.
In reality, it is the normal ebb and flow of the market-price tide.

The Friday Smackdown is usually attributed to profit takers consolidating their end of week trading.

I put in in the same bucket as the gender pay gap fallacy - there is always someone wanting to play victim to a sinister conspiracy against them, even when evidence shows otherwise. It is easier than taking responsibility for yourself.

To those who believe gold's current price is due to manipulation I ask, was gold manipulated when the price was going up in mid 2000s to 2011?

Or is it only manipulation when the price is falling?

To the uneducated manipulation crowd, it is only manipulated when prices going down. When price is going up, it is awakening of hive mind nirvana.

Simpletons don’t understand why “Pump and Dump” was coined, because it is infinitely easier to pump UP the price and dump it to make money.

Also it is beyond stupid to think JP Morgan wants lower prices of silver, when Morgan holds the largest depository scheme lol.

It looks like them naughty Aussie manipulators are manipulating the price(?) of gold up. Or, could it be that foreign speculators are manipulating the value of the FIAT Aussie Dollar down?
Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

The mistake a lot of people make is attaching a fiat price to a precious metal ...

You might be right, but today if I wanted to buy an ounce of Gold I would have to pay $2000.00 in Australian Dollars,in Fiat Currency.

With an ever changing exchange rate I am going to enjoy my time in the sun while I can :)
