wtsilver, are you aware that $1.00 a gram is 42% over silver spot? And that $1.15 is 63% over spot, an increase of 50%.

Before offering advice, look at the situation, read the post, understand the vagaries of such, read the title, do the sums. Pollyanna’s only exacerbate a situation.

 

I understand your point about price sammysilver but again seller can choose to state a price of 100% or even 1000% over spot if he/she wanted to and if it was too high for the market no one would buy it. all I'm saying is let's not fight and insult each other, just communicate and if price is not what you want try negotiate it and if not let it go

 

@wissilver - you should cut back on getting involved (everyone wants to be ahero) - maybe use the pm facility, technically the transaction should have been $1gram + ($7) postage.

 

@clear - there is no reason anyone should insult someone else. if there is a problem with the listing contact the seller to inquire further. I posted on the listing so that new people watching can learn something and not pickup bad habits and do the same down the line.

 

I think the lesson we can take from this is accuracy in listing. mrsilverservice has dropped out of the discussion and there is no joy in baiting others. I’ll go back to pulling wings of butterflies and leave this post.

 

banter between the transacting parties does not involve you - the seller made an error.. thats cool, the first buyer corrected him and thats cool...

 

and no one insulted anyone and that's cool would have been the best thing to happen unfortunately it didn't and that's the point of my postings.

 

@wssilver - everyone (including seller/buyer) understands you and sees better than you, my point - it is not your thread.

 

God help us on the forums if we have to deal with such people is all I can say at this point...
