Thanks for the succinct and accurate synopsis of our discussion.

...Now let's see what else is out there.

Did you guys write a letter to the mint of Poland and let them know how you feel? Maybe they will do something about it.

The respectful dialogue is appreciated, so thank you for that.

Personally, I've never done anything like that, so I'll let others speak to their own experience. We talked about MoP being aware and obviously complicit (to some degree) to the situation as they would know what is going on. Also, most mints like dealers monitor forums like these (especially popular ones) to see what people talk about: to gauge interest, see what's popular or not, etc. The bottom line is they are riding a wave, and are riding the wave to its ultimate conclusion, which is going to hurt everyone - we made the comment before that this does not just hurt the mints/dealers, but also hurts the collectors and collecting in general.

This isn't the first mint to do this, nor the first collectible market for it to happen to, and it always plays out the same.

As a side note for those who didn't see this article before.

the sheer volume of the Athena-Minerva for sale is mind boggling. And the sheer volume that have been sold is just as astounding...and it just continues. I never saw this volume of sale for the gods/four horsemen, and I HIGHLY doubt that most of the 500 minted are in strong hands!!! :D I'd say in they're in the hands of the hoarders...is my speculation...which is why the price is driven so high on those pieces...my bet is that #2 in this Hercules series falls...

Also, someone was tracking the sales of Hydra at The Coin Shoppe. It was posted on the RFD site. This price change happened within a few short minutes and maybe 10 pieces (?) changed hands

I was watching the TCS price for Hydra (in USD):
    $296.79 (start)
    $322.76
    $333.89
    $345.02
    $356.15
    $367.28
    $378.38
    $416.9 (last)

If not buying, then just ignore selling price on this coin.

    You are too serious.

Can’t ignore, have to let newbies know what is going on so they know what is happening before they dive in thinking they’re getting a deal of a life-time. Lol.
