Is there a P on the Kangaroo

    pretty sure they only started putting "P" on bullion coins 2008 onwards.

    I hope so I have looked at it closely and cant see a P even on the Stock Photos on the Internet, my coin is perfect and even when I look under magnification looks real crisp and not a copy, only thing im concerned is a You Tube Video have 3 of them he scratched it and copper under the plate and I dont want to do that.

    johnnyhann is correct, the "P" mintmark was added to all proprietary perth mint coins in 2008. Before then the "P" was only on the 1986 nugget and low mintage collectable coins, so your 2007 roo should not have one :)
    If your concerned about the purity of your coins just take them down to your local dealer and have them scan it with an xrf, even through a capsule you can generally tell if its good or not ;)
