Dealers that buy gold/silver?

    I'm looking to offload some silver from my super fund. It's bad timing for selling silver, but I could face SMSF non-compliance if I don't close it down.

    Can anyone recommend Sydney based dealers that do bulk buy-backs of gold and silver. I need all records kept for tax purposes, so I need proof of the transaction (e.g. receipts, bank transfers ... etc).

    Yes... Agreed. That's where I would head if I was in Sydney.

    There is nothing stopping you selling the silver from your SMSF privately to get more $$$.

    If you have a list of what you have, I may know someone who is chasing specific stuff and may want to pay more.

    Some private buyers may be reluctant to put their details on a receipt.
