    Mint of Poland is going to launch a new series called Masterpieces of Sculpture.

    The first one of the series is famous Pieta by Michelangelo Buonarroti

    Silver coin - 2 oz
    mintage: 999
    The sculpture is high relief and and antique finish, background is black proof

    It should be available in May or June.

    Looks pretty good.

    I am waiting for a good Roman Gods series...….sort of like the Ares/Poseidon series but a Roman version.

    I recieved the Pieta coin a few days ago and I'm not satisfied. It's not bad but I thought it would be better.... The background is definitely not black proof...
