Solid Gold 15.91g Gold Medallion with bezel.
This is a German made medallion from 1969 i picked up at auction a while back at an ABA auction. It's mounted in a lightweight gold bezel (either 9k or 14k i can't recall). Original receipt available if required.

Priced for quick sale at the medal gold spot value only. Asking $940 (Spot price) with the bezel for free.
Add $10 for registered postage. Bank transfer within 24 hours and check out my other items up for sale (can click on my name and then posts/threads).

I overlooked this because I thought it was one of the new moon landing coins that have come out.

Give it some time... It'll find a home it is pretty cool.

Thanks but I can get the same price for scrap as im asking here so it makes no sense financially. Still im hopeful someone takes it today. 50 year anniversary.

It definitely looks like his initials and he was a long-term engraver at the Royal Australian Mint, his most famous design would be the Aboriginal elder from the $2 coin.

Interesting, maybe it's another designer with the same initials. If this was German made in 1969 then it probably wouldn't be Hahne, who although was German moved to Australia in 1959.
