    Hi all,

Succumbed and paid probably too much but I grabbed The Plank off feebay to finish the set.

I received it the other day and saw it has a matte finish that is noticeably different to all the other coins in the series.

Contacted the seller and he mentioned that all the ones he has seen are the same.

Could anyone please confirm? Or is he telling me porky pies?

I'll try and get some good photos of the difference later. Will need to ask my girlfriend how to light it properly haha

    Thanks

Have you seen one of these before? I wonder what one of them is worth?

    Hey mate,

I actually bit the bullet and ended up buying The plank on eBay as couldn't find anywhere else. It should arrive in acouple of days so will take a pic with one of the others like you did and post it up.

I can confirm my Plank coin had a matte finish too. Bought off this forum a while ago.

I also have 2 - one from over seas eBay and one from the forum - even though one more of a matte finish then the other they definitely stand out compared to the rest of the series.

As you state interesting to know if all “ the planks: are like that and if done on purpose or some production error.

As things stand a nice shiny one is sure to get a premium.
