I saw a Centenary Florin EF (typo in the title) grade at an antique shop on the weekend for $850.

At first I thought that was quite cheap but on further research have found that it might be right on the money.

    What do you think?

I would not bother buying an EF, you will not make any money on it. Jump onto Drakesterling or Sterling and Currency, they normally have a few and they will be slabbed (by PCGS not APCGS!!).

    $550 will buy you a MS64 - that's good value!

I've seen recent auctions sell EF for around $150. - $200.

Prices for EF these days are what VF used to bring ten years ago.

There have certainly been some dismal auction results for these coins on eBay recently. Whoever got a coin and a Foy bag for $250 is laughing.
