I am looking for the mintage list for 1/2 ounce Chinese silver panda coins. I know they were only minted from 1993-1998, however I can't seem to find numbers for all of the years! If you have more information and want to share, that would be much appreciated!
93 round 24000/28888 94 round 158888/17000 95 round 34000 96 round 21000 97 round 30000/8000 98 round 200000/4100 The first number is mintage second one is established population that's what my book says its hard to get real numbers
Also, do you remember if there was anything on the 1/4 and 1/10 ounce coins? I don't think they exist, but I thought that I would check. Thanks!
I don't think so in silver but I'm not certain Should be 1/10 and 1/4 oz gold pandas I'm sure a few others would know more than me
Gold yes. Silver bullion panda coin hardly came across this size mint by china official mint as fiat coin.
Peter does have a Chinese panda book issue recently. But all in mandarin. He also include estimate surviving population of panda coin of each year. The new official book of china did stated in English and mandarin of the planned mintage and actual minted quantity of panda from 1983 to 2017 silver and other china precious metals coins information
