hard and fast is the only way when silver is on a run. i did all the research and dived in last october, 1 month, approx 1500oz. november took me to 1785oz. its been stagnant since then.

well done champ, some good buys there definetly. the sneaky 1oz of gold adds some flavour too.

I didn't, I was still pretty hesistant at first. Until I got my first 10oz PM bar. I went a little nuts in the 2 months after, I'm still trying to replenish my savings so I can continue stacking in significant enough amounts.

    Great story about DSE.

My first silver was bought on the 15th March, so nearly a month for me. Not as impressive but thought I'd share.

    Stack is:

    2 2oz kooks
    1 1 oz kook
    2oz bar
    30 maples
    2 $10 coins
    5 round 50c
    15 pre-46 florins
    3 10g perth mint gold

Considering 10oz bar as next purchase.

    Stack

And a close up of the kooks because they look so good.

    Mega-dang.

I got an e-mail overnight from APMEX: they cancelled my order more than 24 hours after I sent the bank wire.
2nd Order in a week mind you, over 10,000 US turnover.

Needless to say I'm pissed off. They cancelled it due to an 'obvious error' on an item price- that shouldn't be my problem should it?
When they say obvious, it wasn't like an error where the decimal place was, but it was about a 5% price error in the 1 item (I did buy 5 though).
I needed to do 2 bank wires to pay for the order, now I'm out 48 bucks, as well as a load of my cash floating around in digital land.

I think it will be a long while before I elect to spend $10k at APMEX again.
