So been busy over the weekend, got a few nice items for sale, all prices are plus postage and as anyone who has dealt with me before would know i am negotiable on large orders with postage and i work hard to keep postage cost to a minimum. !st cab of the rank i have a few hundred round 50's available at the bargain basement price of $7.90 each Now i have a couple of sovereigns, only $440 each -sold pending a fully hallmarked 1972 Birmingham made 9ct gold 10 shilling charm, this is a cool thing, it is an actual 10 shilling note enclosed in a 9ct gold case that is meant to be hung on a bracelet "for emergencies" $100 sold
Now for the rare item, i have a 15ct Yellow Gold Albert Chain With 9ct Yellow Gold Australian Coat Of Arms Medallion, c.1900 i)The Albert chain is by early West Australian jeweler Thomas Richard Scanlan, c.1900. The T bar is marked "15CT" "S" and "a swan" Each link is stamped "15" ii)The Coat of Arms Medallion is by Willis & Sons and is marked with "a unicorn" "9" "W". Also marked "Rd No 263". Willis & Sons were located in Hay and Murray St Perth, from 1899 to 1907. They were also in Melbourne and Sydney. This is a rare item and they dont often turn up. $1750
i have seen a couple, this is one of the nicer ones with full English hallmarks and a well folded banknote and in good condition, they are a cool little thing and getting harder to find as people open them up with 10 shilling bank notes getting more expensive, a coin dealer i showed it to tried to convince me to open it there and then so he could see what the note series was
I have some more info in the ten shilling note thing I just don't want to spend 100$ on curiosity that's all
I have 600 round fifties available now, surprised that they aren't selling, might be time to sell them on ebay again
that's because it has sold (the post before yours was a buzz?!?!?) and i didn't want to waste my time entertaining another one of your lowball offers do me a favor and don't post on my sales threads anymore, we are not going to do a deal given your desire to pay under spot for premium items
