Well my first bullion purchase was on 10-3-11 (props to Ainslie) so I thought I'd show off my horde.
Question: does everyone always go hard in the first month they start stacking?

    :)

My grams/troy oz scales I got from DSE

These scales were in Dick Smith for $100. Sales dude came over, I said I liked them but I didn't want to pay $100 for em. I said it is a shame I didn't bring any other catalogs in with me to see if there was something they could price match. How many did they have in stock? Only this one he said, noting that 'druggies' are always trying to steal them. I said I had a legit reason for them, not that I give a damn what other people do in their spare time. Again I lamented not having a catalog. "Where else have you seen them and for how much?" But there was something in his tone of voice that made my ears prick. So I looked him right in the eye and said: "how much can the store afford to come down?" -He said he'd be right back.
So he comes back to me after 1 min at the register and says: "didn't you say you saw them at 'spotlight' for 50 bucks?" I said " I'll take it. "
At the register I said: ".....[clerks name] I'd like to repay the favor in my own way: now is the time you really ought to start buying silver bullion"
He leaned forward to me and this kid quietly whispered "I already have 2 ounces!"

Cheers for the tip, great spanner sage. I forsee many more opportunities/reasons for me to taking more photos and I will experiment with backgrounds.
I just grabbed the thing my wife uses to take photos for her eBay auctions. Not much of a photographer tbh! :p

That's pretty cool Silver Natural 9, awesome bars you got there.

Went bullishly hard during my first time. Felt pretty good to hold onto perfectly smooth handfuls of purity.
I unloaded what I could in a major show of liquidity. Good times.

That is an awesome month of purchases SN9. Although, personally I would of used a black back drop to bring out more of the silver with pictures :)

Thanks very much gang. I made 2 huge orders with APMEX in the last week. Also a purchase from a fellow forum member this weekend. Next months photos if I do it again, will look as impressive.

    "Impressive! Very impressive!"

(Oh yeah, there was also some eBay action. I have at least my current stack size in silver + some gold out there in to-be-delivered land.)

(And props to projack for selling me those Lunar Proofs in the OP photos. Shameless projack plug: if he is selling something on here, you should buy it.)

Yeah, I did too! Was too excited after doing the research on silver. Thought it was a no-brainer, digged into some savings, sold some shares and got in pretty hard (for me at least).

By the way, very, very nice purchase SN9!
