I am wondering if anyone has any information about these commemorative florin medallions. I bought them a long time ago before i had any sense wrt gold/silver/coins. I got them from AE Jewellers in Adelaide who said they were 6oz each of .925 silver, however i didnt ask anything else.

im looking to sell them but want some solid information especially of their origin first.
if someone could help that would be great

6oz ? Or is the correct weight 190 grams ?

I have 190 gram SS medallions of the 1855 Sydney Mint Sovereign & 1852 Adelaide Pound ....

These were made by Downies and sold for $495. each ( not sure how long ago ).
