Some mainstream coverage on 60 minutes focusing mainly on the scam coins (because they make better news): https://www.9news.com.au/national/2018/02/18/21/42/60-minutes-new-cryptocurrency-auscoin
Looks like a big sell-off caused the recent drops https://www.ccn.com/bitcoin-drops-8300-mt-gox-trustee-sell-off-continues-market-drops/
Bitcoin back in the $7000 zone Though im a bit surprised how low the volume is at this level, so not looking good. Maybe $5000 will show more support.
did not know where to put this and Im sure you guys already heard it but today I saw a big truck on the highway advertising that bitcoin ATM's are coming.I could not take a pic as I was driving too.so seems like bitcoin is here to stay for a while.
Yes it was an auscoin truck I’ve seen it on the Gold Coast for the last month. That guy is putting one in evey major shopping centre in the country 2000+
i have resisted to talk crypto on here for a while but think raven could be for everyone who missed the bitcoin/ethereum huge gains. new coin, based on bitcoin but different in that it will allow applications like ethereum. no premine, no ico just a fair distribution via proof of work and a new algorithm that will prevent asic mining. only available on crypto bridge, you can rent mining power at miningrigrentals, algo still too early for nicehash. road map set to be released on 4th april, overstocked have also invested millions into this coin, you can also do some googling/research into why that is important.
its too late for bitcoin, with the majority mostly mined it wouldnt matter if they did change but theres no point now. its not more energy efficient, just asic resistant. its already jumped 50% in the past few days and value proposition will be revealed in the road map but expect it will go into competition with ethereum for distributed applications. https://seekingalpha.com/instablog/3186521-jim-roof/5127973-ravencoin-take-flight
