hello everybody! I recently purchased a 10oz Perth bar that I am having a hard time finding any info on. after asking around a little bit on Instagram, I was eventually directed to this thread. After seeing the first page, I see now that it's either a type "E" or "F" but I would still love to get a rough estimate of date of production and an appraisal of value if at all possible.

I am looking to sell it if anyone is interested in it. I just need to know what it's worth first. The only listing I found on worthpoint was from 2011 and it sold for just over $400

sbc, it's a generic Perth Mint logo which was an option for their custom minting service.

Company logo on the reverse.. for promotional /corporate gifts or commemorative medals.

Similar to the Perth Mint 90th Anniversary and “Fine Silver Piece” medallions made in the 1980's and 1990's.

http://wanumismatica.org.au might like to have a photo of it for their website.

Awesome hotchef! no such thing as normal - and that is one reason they are attractive. Most odd weight 10oz fluctuate a little over rather than under.

In my opinion "under" 10oz is rarer than "over" 10oz but I only base that on what I have seen available for sale.

Used to be quite few reference photo's on the old Silverstackers site but a lot of the pics were purged...
